Tradie Marketplace operates from Bundaberg, Queensland, Australia. This policy applies to our website, Android app and Wide Bay marketplace pilot.

What we collect

We may collect account and contact details, profile and business information, job descriptions and photos, quotes, messages, reviews, approximate service location, safety reports, support records, app activity, device and app version, push-notification tokens and technical diagnostics needed to operate and protect the service.

How we use it

We use information to provide the marketplace, connect customers and tradies, deliver notifications, improve the service, verify information, prevent misuse, investigate safety concerns, provide support and meet legal obligations.

Who can see it

Job and profile information is shown only as needed for the marketplace. Exact job addresses are restricted and should only become available to the selected tradie where required. Do not include sensitive personal information in public job descriptions or photos. We use service providers including Supabase, Google and notification infrastructure to operate the app. We do not sell personal information.

Location, camera and notifications

Location permission helps suggest a suburb or address and show nearby work. Camera and photo access let you attach job, profile and completion images. Notification permission is used for quotes, messages, reminders and important service updates. You can decline optional permissions or change them in Android settings.

Your choices

You can update much of your information in the app, control notification permission and use blocking and reporting tools. You may ask us to access or correct personal information. You may also request account deletion through our account deletion page.

Security and retention

We use access controls, encryption in transit, restricted administration, multi-factor authentication, audit records and other reasonable safeguards. No online service is risk-free. We retain information only as long as reasonably required for operation, safety, fraud prevention, disputes and legal obligations. Serious complaint, financial and audit records may be retained where deletion would undermine safety or legal requirements.
